Winter Walk Day

We had 12 friends walk to school today for Winter Walk day!  Good job to those who participated

In writing, we started a new type of writing focused around writing an Article.  We discussed how this is sharing of true facts and information.  Everyone picked a topic about something we have been learning about to share.  The big ideas were:
Water (connected to our presentations with CPAWS)
Ralph Klein Park and Wetlands
Jobs in the 3 different Communities.

Ask your child what they picked for their idea.
Ask them if they brainstormed their 3 ideas or facts and are ready to start writing.
If your child did not get their 3 ideas/facts talk about about what other things they know that they could say about their topic.
We know good writers think about their writing, even when they are not writing, so hopefully the ideas are ready for us the next day!
