Our class continued to be a quiet place this week, but not a moment went by when I wasn't thinking of each of you. I hope that you are all well and safe.
What have you been up to this week? I enjoyed finishing our hot insulator experiment on Monday (you can check out the picture below!) and am thinking that maybe I'm ready to build my insulator to see if I can keep something cold. This would be a great activity that you could do at home with your parents with things around the house. I'm sure there is some sort of frozen food in your fridge you can ask to use. I'd love to see what you create and if it works!
I'd love to hear from you, so feel free to write a comment below or you can send me an email (algardner@cbe.ab.ca)
Take time to enjoy yourselves over the spring break. You definitely deserve it. I spent a lot of time this week reviewing all your work from the last few weeks, and even since our Celebration I was surprised at how much we had done! You are all such hard workers and you amaze me! I will also be taking family time next week, and focusing on staying healthy and active.
We continue to wait for directions from the CBE for out next steps in terms of providing instruction to our students. The CBE shared this link with all families that provides a list of resources you can access from home:

Here are some other online resources we use in class that you can continue to use from home:
Prodigy Math
Epic!
Raz-Kids
If you have any problems accessing our class accounts, please do not hesitate to contact me and I'll be more than happy to help.
Take care and have a wonderful Spring Break. I'll be thinking of you all and look forward to connecting with you after Spring Break.
Love,
Ms. Gardner
