Fun Lunch Day!

Here are the highlights from Thursday:
In music we had boomwackers and we played a song with them - Thandi
In Art we learned about Ted Harrison and his art and what his art is about.  Ask your parents if they know who Ted Harrison is - Muhammad
We had Pizza fun lunch today - Cayden 
In math we worked on a math problem with ordinal numbers - Lauren 
We learned about the weather in Nunavut.  Ask your child, does it snow a lot in the Arctic?  (It actually doesn't snow as much as you might think, and part of the Arctic is actually an polar desert).

Here is a word problem that your child can work on to show their understanding of ordinal numbers.

Ryder has 10 lollipops.  Some are purple and some are orange.  The 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 3rd lollipops are purple.  What lollipops are orange.   The rest are orange.  Are there more purple or orange lollipops.
