Second Day of October

Highlights from today:
We worked on our semi circle for My Country and we coloured 3 different areas of Canada that we will be learning more about in Grade 2 this year - Yafiet
Today in math we worked on a problem starting at 7 and counting by 5s to see if we would reach 55.  Ask me if we reached 55 or not. - Muhammad
We decided as a class that we would like to focus on solving the problem of reducing the noise in the hallways.  We brainstormed ways that the Grade 2s can start to work on this problem.  We discovered that this is going to be a challenge to try and solve, but we know that this is going to provide with a GREAT OPPORTUNITY!! - Zoie and Ms G

Forms for the movie night went home with Oldest or Only Siblings today.  Be sure to return them quickly, as the movie night tickets often sell out quickly!
